BEAGLE CHANNEL

The Beagle Channel is a course of water that links the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans. It was named after the vessel “Beagle”, crewed by the famous captain Robet Fitz Roy. In this area, we can find different colonies of birds and marine mammals. The Yamana pople lived in this area about 8000 years ago, and at present it is possible to find their archeological remains ( the concheros).
